Hey is anyone out there? We just got back from the dr.'s office. Tom had 50 cc's of fluid taken off the knee. Oh, shades of 2004 all over again. It is bone on bone and we have to make a decision, knee surgery or not. Shots of cortizone help some, but the problem would still be there. Oh well, wish us luck.

Hi Guys,
Nice blog. I see that you went inland from Yountville. You went through some hot, hot country.
Glad to see that you made it to the Redwoods. Beautiful, isn't it?
Go, get the knee surgery done. So you are uncomfortable for a couple of days but the drugs take care of that. Been there, done that. Glad I did it.
Hope that Charley is doing better. She's so cute!
We just got home night before last with several more mishaps. Now we need to get a broken window fixed, stereo/cd player fixed and now we are on our third tongue jack! What a nightmare this trip has been. I'll never forget this trip.
I need to clean the trailer and get it ready for the next trip as I don't like storing it dirty. I'm ahead of that game a little but need to do a little more scrubbing.
Your photos are great! Love seeing the places you went to as it brought back many memories of my past. Now I just need to get Joe to agree to pass up Yountville one year and go see those same places. I think that we're ready for a motor home but just can't afford it at this time. This trip cost us over $3K in repairs and we are heading to N.Y. in two weeks. Maybe in a couple of years.
Send me e-mail and let me know how you are doing.
Lots of Hugs
Claudia & Joe

Glad you are home safely, I'll miss this blog. Was living vicariously!! LOL

We've had a lot of company lately and been on the go. Leaving for vacation on the 9th through the 23rd, we'll be flying this year. I'll miss the car trip and backroads through the east. We're flying up to Pellston this afternoon for dinner, we do that quite often on Sunday. They have a good "all you can eat" chicken but I'll be getting the fish this time. Lost 20 lbs and 40 more to go. Slow but sure.

Take care of the knee Tom. Haven't known a single person that regretted it yet!! Easy for me to say, eh?? Well, keep in touch and let me know what you do! Katrina
